ABSTRACT:
Ancient days
peoples are purely depends on
herbal drugs. Why because at that time allopathic drugs are not
available for peoples. Now a days both ayurveda and
allopathic drugs are used. some chronic diseases are
completely not eradicated by allopathic drugs. For this reason ayurvedic drugs are more preferred than allopathic drugs.
In India 3000 plants used for
the medicinal value. In
general 6000 medicinal plants in India are in use in traditional, folklore and
used as a herbal medicine. This article aims to
provide a comprehensive review in ayurveda in
the pharmacological aspects of Eclipta alba. This
plant mainly use ful for the various physiological
activities are like black hair, eye diseases, headache, deaf, diarrhea,
fertility agent, jaundice, body tingling effect, ring worm infection, toes pain
etc.

INTRODUCTION:
Herbs have always been the principal form of medicine in India.
Medicinal plants have curative properties due to the presence of various
complex chemical substances of different composition, which are found as
secondary plant metabolites in one or more parts of these plants .this Eclipta alba used in various kinds of diseases.
Black hair[1]:
Eclipta alba
juice, coconut oil, eblica seed juice, Hedychium spicatum, Cinnamomum tamala, Andropogon muricatus, Cymbopogon cintratus, Curcuma
angustifolia these all plants are taken in dish
and add boiled with oil .then collect the remain oil portion and filter it
.next step every day that oil applie for head hair
gradually hairs getting black colour.
Body tingling effect[2]:
Eclipta alba
and cow ghee are taken equal quantity and boiled for obtaining of il
poriton. And filtyer the
oil portion and preserve it that medicament applied for body massage and relive the body
tingling effect.
Ringworm infection[3]:
Eclipta alba roots and turmeric are taken equal quantity and then
past the mixture. Then that paste is applied on infected area.
Fertility agent[4]:
Those who are require baby birth such lady compulsory wear the
leaf is like flower put in head then induce fertility for lady.
Diarrhoea[5]:
Eclipta alba juice and honey mixed it .then daily two times morning and
evening consumed it and controls diarrhea.
For deaf[6]:
Eclipta alba juice, emlica officinalis juice, Foeniculum vulgare gar juice, pepper, cloves, Picrorhiza kurrooa, vasakommulu all are
collect to grind it .after that half
liter milk and Pongamia pinneta
oil boiled on burner then we require oil
portion only up to that boiled it. Then
filter it. that daily morning and evening place
the dropd in ear thebn
prevent deafness.
Toes pains[8]:
Eclipta alba
juice applied on toes pain then it relieve or eliminate the pain.
Head ache[9]:
Eclipta alba juice, cow ghee, Glycyrrhiza glabra, Embelia ribes all are taken equal quantity taken
in dish and boiled only when oil portion will come up to that boiled it. Then
filter it every day two tomes inhaled in side. Then relive the all types of
head diseases.
Jaundice[10]:
Eclipta alba, pepper,
cow curd mixed and prepare the paste. Finally produce the mixture and daily two
times up to five days consumed means immediately vanished
the jaundice
CONCLUSION:
Traditionally when a ever Indian peoples
are during disease time allopathic drugs will taken but such drugs not given
permanent curative effect. Herbal medicine play crucial role in chronic
diseases. World is endowed with a rich
wealth of medicinal plants. Medicinal plants also play an important role in the
lives of rural people, particularly in remote parts of developing countries
with few health facilities. The present review reveals that eclipta alba. The plant has been studied
for their various pharmacological activities like black hair, deaf, skin
diseases, diarrhea, body pains, ring worm infections, toes pains along with at
also acts as a fertilizing agent.
